Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)

UPK is a New York State funded program specifically designed for 4-year-olds not eligible for kindergarten. Each year Webster Central School District invites eligible children who reside in the district to apply.

The UPK application for the 2016-17 school year can be found at the link below or by clicking here. The application deadline has passed. Any new applications will be added to the end of the wait list. Notification following the lottery process will be mailed to each family in early May.

All of the UPK teachers are New York State certified and are co-observed and evaluated by the agency directors and Webster School District UPK Coordinator. There are several workshops for the UPK teachers throughout the school year.

The UPK program follows the Webster Central School District's school calendar. When Webster students have off, UPK students do not have school.

If you have additional questions, please phone 216-0024.
